It's a boy!

Dearest Son,

A detail scan was performed and Prof Biswas told us that you are a boy. You are doing great and the lump on your neck is probably just a cyst. Prof Biswas told us not to be too worried and all we need is a little surgery after you are born to have it removed. To have a peace of mind, your mummy had a amniocentesis procedure done to ensure that you do not have any chromosomal abnormalities. The needle used for the procedure is really long and I guess it must be really painful as your mummy held on to my hands really tight during the procedure. The very thought of the long needle poking through your mummy's stomach still send shivers down my spine.

By the way, the liquid you are going to drink as long as you are in your mummy's tummy is yellowish in color. Prof Biswas said that those are actually your urine. How yucky is that!

One more thing, you better be filial especially to you mummy after all the pain and emotional trauma she has to go through. I will not hesitate to spank your little ass if you are naughty.

Love always,
daddy

I hope you are well

Dearest Baby,

I hope you are doing well inside your mummy's tummy. Today during the ultrasonography scan, the gynaecologist notice that there was a lump on the right side of your neck. You have already pass the triple test about a month ago and this really caught your mummy and I by surprise. The gynaecologist has arrange for a detail scan at NUH this coming Thursday to see what's the lump is all about. Your mummy is devastated and so am I. I totally lost my mood for everything. All I did for the whole day was sitting on the sofa and watching TV with your mummy. I didn't even turn on my computer to play games, which is a daily affair for me.

Please be safe my baby, both your mummy and I are worried sick.

Love always,
daddy

She look worried but I guess she is not really prepared to be pregnant nor becoming a mummy. We are going to the gynaecologist tomorrow to get a check up done for your mummy. I'm so excited! I'm going to start fathering you in about 9 months time!
