Dear Cepheus,
We brought you to Safra Mount Faber's swimming pool today. Your mummy bought a neck float off the internet and she was your "swimming instructor" for the day. She spend a lot of time in the water bringing you around the pool. Took you a while to get use to the water but we think that you like it.
Below is a short clip of your "swimming lesson" today.
Love always,
Daddy

Pumpkin puree for babies
Dear Cepheus,
After about a week of feeding you with rice cereal, if seems like you enjoy eating semi solid food. You finish them much faster than drinking your milk. You are always eager and ready to open your mouth when we put the spoon near. However, you tends to be impatient and tries to grab the spoon and pull it towards you. We have to distract you with soft toy so that you will keep your hands to yourself.
Your mummy feels that you are ready for puree and we bought some pumpkin and make some puree for you. Here's how we did it, you might wanna keep this in mind so that you can make some for my grand children next time.
- Cut pumpkin into small slices, removing all skins, seeds and strings
- Steam them for about 20-30mins till they are soft *we steam the pumpkin in a wok and test the softness with a fork*
- Put the steamed pumpkin into a blender and blend them into puree.
Your mummy managed to buy some puree freezer cube so that we can store them in the fridge and feed you once or twice a day after heating them up.
It seems like you enjoyed your pumpkin puree. Perhaps the taste is new to you and the pumpkin puree, according to your mummy *she ate some of your puree*, they taste fantastic. Too bad for your mummy as she said that if you do not like them, she's gonna eat them all by herself. We shall be making some carrot puree for you over the coming weekend.
Love always,
daddy
